First Hugs

24" x 24"

Acrylic Paint on Canvas

As the last in this Unprececented Times of 2020-2021 series, this painting depicts the moment that my twin grandchildren hugged their vaccinated Nana after fifteen months of COVID isolation.

The Spoken Word

40"x40"x 1 1/2"

Acrylic Paint and mixed media on canvas.

The scale to which I have drawn RBG is in proportion to the person she was: BIGGER THAN LIFE. 48"x36"x 1 1/2"

Acrylic and ink on canvas

On the Wings of Democracy

36" x 24" x 1 1/2"

Acrylic on canvas

With the election  in 2021 of our first women, person of color, as Vice President of the United States of America, we have made history. Kamala Harris is indeed on the wings of democracy. May our nation soar to new heights as we are inspired by the positivity of hope and transformation.

Acrylic paint and mixed media on Arches water color paper

The riotous insurrectionists who gathered and attacked our Capital on January 6th, juxtaposed with the innocent children in Central Park who gather harmoniously to play, symbolize and emphasize the stark contrast in our society's morals and mindset.  Many of the angry mob are themselves parents and

Forgotten at the Border

30"x 40"

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas

What are to become of the children who have been separated from their parents at the Mexican border, the innocent victims of a heartless political act? This painting is a 3rd in a series, "Children During the Pandemic".
